That's it really. God, he was hot back then; (pity i wasn't even born for another 10 yrs though) and that voice - a friend at uni used to , ahem, pleasure herself, whilst listening to the orgasmic sounding bit on 'Dazed and Confused' I think it was... don't blame her really! Blush

Watching that documentary last night and just had to get that out of my system. [regains composure]

We met him in a pub once and he spent a couple of hours chatting to us and buying us drinks (we did offer but he insisted! Grin).

He is indeed a lovely man, v friendly and interesting.

We managed to contain the drool Grin.

YANBU [phwar!!] loads of singers since his day in the style of Robert Plant

IntergalacticHussy · 07/11/2010 15:26

Jimmy Page had work done? god i hate it when people i quite like go under the knife.

infinitely better to age craggily.

Knittingisbetter, Racmac, you lucky lot! I bet i'd fancy him if i met him, even now...

MiraArte - i think i'd probably have holed myself up in my room 'revising' over his posters for most of the time. That and pestered my folks for tickets Blush

intergalactic, I have to confess I didn't even recognise him Blush. I asked what he was going there and he said he'd been to a local festival - I asked him if he'd seen any good bands Blush Grin.

Not my finest hour, but he was v good about it!

Mira- you are right, I know he's a rich and interesting character, and has many other aspects to him, but in my head he's always 23 with his shirt off, can't help it

Did he discuss his music, MiraArte.....can't say I noticedGrin. I don't think he'd mind us drooling. I reckon he knew we'd want his cucumber for a picnicGrin

Minione · 07/11/2010 16:50

An ex of mine's mum used to go swimming at the same baths as him when he still lived in West Bromwich. She had a huge crush on him but I don't think anything ever came of it.

Would love to have seen him in a pair of trunks! That's probably what she noticed!

laloue · 07/11/2010 17:30

As a fifteen year old assistant in Worcester's only Goth/ Rock clothing emporium, several lifetimes ago (not sure if he still lives near Kidderminster?), I once measured his inside leg ... I'm still not convinced he didn't already know his measurements...Hmm. He also had the decency to wave back at my crazy mother in the traffic the other day Smile

maktaitai · 07/11/2010 17:34

woh laloue, is that going to be on your gravestone? now THAT is a claim to fame worth having Grin

maktaitai · 07/11/2010 17:35
