DD4, PLB (precious last born) has been counting! Not just reciting numbers, but actually counting things. And not just to two or three, but to eight! I am amazed, and chuffed Smile

It's exciting enough when they learn something new (or you realise they've learnt something new) but when it's far over and above what you're used to, it's even more exciting!

My nephew and I were in a fancy tea shop cafe thing once when he was 4 and he was messing about with the cutlery. He dropped it all on the floor and said, "Oh fuck!"

All the old dears in the shop were horrified until I said "That's right darling, Oh fork!, the fork is on the floor."

Ooh a Boasty Thread, brilliant :o

Well I will boast that my DD, 3.4, drew a really good ladybird today.

And she made everyone laugh yesterday at dinner by announcing that the baby carrot looked like her baby brother's Other Bum.

:o
