People talking in really high, squeaky voices (helium induced or on the radio/tv when they are pretendign to be flies/bees etc)

Dogs walking into things

Cats falling off furniture

Toddlers being furious and pointing and explaining in toddler language just why they are so furious and expecting you to understand.

Babies dressed as bees/pumpkins/christmas puddings

What things never cease to amuse you?

2 and a half Men...I love that show...

StarExpat · 05/11/2010 21:47

oh Blush Blush that I admitted to it, then. I thought it was a small small world for a moment there :)

FlamingMagnaFlow · 05/11/2010 21:52

My DS's 5 and 2 pretending to trump using whooppee cusions and then they giggle like mad which sets me off again.

My two also love laughing at the babies/small children on You've Been Framed. Nothing sounds better than the infectious giggle of a child Grin

OopsDoneItAgain · 05/11/2010 21:54

Can I cite my DH? He mixes his metaphors unintentionally and I frequently end up snorting out my tea. eg. one day we were having a mock argument, I say 'What you going to do about it', he tries to reply 'I have plenty up my sleeve/weapons in my arsenal' but it comes out 'I have plenty up my arse-nal' Grin

OopsDoneItAgain · 05/11/2010 21:56

And somewhat childishly, whenever we have peas to eat, if one rolls off someones plate I have to yell 'Look! Its an escapee!' whereby I laugh uproariously and everyone else scowls at me.

I need to get out more...

Madinitials · 05/11/2010 22:00

Mine's so sad: in the film Elf when he gets knocked over by a taxi and his legs go up in the air. I've seen it about 5 times and laugh out loud every time.

StarExpat · 05/11/2010 22:10

Ohhh madinitials! Mine is in Elf, too! When he's in the department store and sees Santa and screams "SANTA!" I ROFL just thinking about it!

ENormaSnob · 05/11/2010 22:20

I love elf too.

I also find it funny when dogs pull themselves along with their front legs in order to wipe their arse on the floor. Never ceases to amuse.

nameymcnamechange · 05/11/2010 22:26

Father Ted.

Unexpected and inappropriate swearing (especially from children). My 4 y/o ds waking up in the middle of the night once with an ear infection and saying "oh Mummy, my ears are wanking", for eg.

My dh trying to talk to the natives while on holiday. He starts off in his pigeon French/Spanish/German but inevitably has to give up and use an English word - but spoken slowly and in a continental accent.

BlueAndTwistedTouchPaper · 05/11/2010 22:28

The words 'wibberly' and 'flange'.Oh and 'flaps'. Blush

Frasier. Regardless of whether I've seen the episode a million times before.

The look on a cat's face when it's sneezed.

Chickens running.

Mumcentreplus · 05/11/2010 22:45

Yep Fraiser..tis classic...

backwardpossom · 05/11/2010 22:50

Graffiti that is simply a big willy (if you get what I mean?) - a big willy on a wall makes me laugh every time, even though I know graffiti is wrong...

Farts, particularly my 15 month old DS's ones.

bigchris · 05/11/2010 23:37

I love that scene in the National Lampoons Christmas film when the squirrel leaps out of the christmas tree and Chevy Chase runs up the stairs with it on his back, I spend the whole film waiting for that bit and even thinking about it now makes me laugh so much.

People falling over etc too, that involuntary kind of laugh that comes out. I am very clumbsy so I too probably get laughed at all the time too.

Acorn Antiques. I makes me cry with laughter every time I remeber it.

bearcrumble · 06/11/2010 21:45

That episode of Friends where Joey is on a game show "Paper. Snow. A ghost!".

Del Boy falling through the bar.

The idea of a dog running out a butcher's shop with a string of sausages.

Tracey Mcleod's restaurant reviews when she goes somewhere particularly awful. This one I like to revisit now and again when I'm feeling miserable www.independent.co.uk/life-style/food-and-drink/reviews/supperclub-12-acklam-road-london-w10-1859749.html I URGE you all to read it.

Mumcentreplus · 06/11/2010 22:15

bigchris that Del-boy scene is the ultimate style-out Grin
