The dictionary definition of cunt is:

Used as a disparaging term for a person one dislikes or finds extremely disagreeable.

Having seen the definition of cunt I'm starting to think that cunt is too nice a description for him.

It is my personal opinion that Matthew wright is a lazy-arsed mysongynnist cunt who is threatened by the thought of women having valid opinions.
Also my opinion that he is a coward, in that he would never dare do a webchat with us for fear of shitting himself when actually having to converse with us.
I hold to a third opinion, that MW is seriosly affected by ridiculosly-tiny-cock syndrome, hence all the vitriol and hatred towards the posters on this site.

Can't we take a little bit of criticism? Does it really matter what Matthew Wright thinks of Mumsnet? If you think so little of him why should his opinion of Mumsnet bother you all so much? Personally I think MW has a soft spot for Mumsnet. He certainly gets tons of his programme material from these pages! He likes to prod the nest of vipers and get a reaction.

I don't think threads like this make a good case for Mumsnet being full of intelligent and articulate people at all.

I think the things he says are in jest, he is almost flirting with us when he says them, teasing us like a horrid boy would do in the playground!

You presume he has a sense of humour nameymcnamechange. I sense he does have a sense of humour however this is mediated by the protection of his large ego, and hence any 'jokes' about 'personality' or 'cuntness' are deemed to be lacking in humour.

I was really pissed when I saw this segment this morning. I thought he was saying MN is for illiterate women with "too much time on their hands". And it seemed he was being quite aggressive and provocative as he personally didn't agree with the sentiments being posted about the particular story... although I felt he missed the point entirely but that's just my opinion. Anyway, has really turned me off this show. And Anne Diamond is mad!

I often think that the hours I while away on MN say a lot about me having too much time on my hands.
