I said to my mum that if the baby was a week or two early I'd be fine to go, and she went on about how I obviously don't have a proper maternal instinct yet because I'd never want to leave the baby and who was going to babysit?

She is going to TT with me, DH and my step-dad. Height of cool, I know. But there are other grandparents who I'm sure would be happy to let me scream like a teenager for a couple of hours, and ignore my new responsibilities!

Just because you'll have a new baby doesn't mean you can't scream like a teenager for a couple of hours lol. Will your MIL be able to sit for you?

My mum will be sitting for me overnite whilst I go to London and scream like a teenager again for TT, and also shes having DD the weekend before for Bon Jovi
