I love cucumber, and even when I am feeling full, cucumber is just so soothing. I love it's watery coolness. Is there anything more refreshing?

Plus it is the only vegetable dd1 will eat so she has it with every meal! I just love it

Pixie83 · 02/11/2010 20:21

Mumcentreplus · 02/11/2010 20:31

Cucmber mis-use eh?...Hmm I suppose its cheaper than a dildo...but is it more cost effective?

Although each cucumber is different.. variety an all that Grin

Pixie83 · 02/11/2010 20:35

I'm pretty sure I read it in Cosmo in an article about ....... sex toys. Must have been ages ago as I'm waaaaaaaay too old for Cosmo and the like now, but it stuck in my mind... ha ha Smile

Pixie83 · 02/11/2010 20:35

Honestly!

QuintessentialShadows · 02/11/2010 20:39

I love cucumbers.

I had one posted to me by a man I fancied very much, citing a biblical verse.

It was in response to an arty postcard by Arcimboldo.

Oooh Err Missus was it a whole one? Grin

QuintessentialShadows · 02/11/2010 20:45

Was that to me? Yes it was a whole one....

Rocketbird · 02/11/2010 20:45

No. A cup of tea is a little heavenly oasis of refreshment. You are bonkers as conkers. :)

Mumcentreplus · 02/11/2010 20:47

Yikes!...so did you ever see said cucumber?

winnybella · 02/11/2010 20:49

And it's good for your skin, as well-it evens out the tone. I always use the peel to rub my face with.

QuintessentialShadows · 02/11/2010 20:54

Did I see it?
Of course I did. The postman rang my doorbell to give it to me in person, he was that bemused. (rather than putting it into my wall hung mail box outside the door, which is the custom in Norway.....)

Bumperlicious · 02/11/2010 21:15

Good for de-puffing the eyes.

See, facials, vitamins, sexual fulfilment...is there anything this wonderful vegetable cannot do?

BigTeuchLittleTeuch · 02/11/2010 21:27

Whilst reading this thread...

...has anyone else got that weird thing where you can't decide whether 'cucumber' is spelled correctly or indeed a word at all?

Hate that.

Love cucumber. [is it a word?)

Rhinestone · 02/11/2010 21:27

Try it drizzled with olive oil and sprinkled with paprika! Yummalicious!

QuintessentialShadows · 02/11/2010 21:29

lightbulb moment.

no sadly, I did not. He posted the cucumber from Oslo, and I lived up north. If he were to show me his penis from that distance, it would be something for the guinness book of records. And quite gross, seeing it is over 2000 kilometers. Grin

Even better than cucumber - radishes!! Bloody delicious with a bit of sea salt sprinkled on!
