Our street is busy today--nothing to do with us, it's not our building work or elecricians' vans, or whatever.
I waited for our post lady to walk out of our drive rather than reversing up while she was walking out. The drive is narrow and I didn't want to risk her having to jump out of the way.
This meant that one of our neighbours in his white van had to wait about fifteen seconds while she walked out of the drive and got into her post van. When she'd done this, I started to reverse into my drive he began tooting me.
As he wouldn't let me reverse, I then had to drive all the way along the street and past his drive to let him through, before I was able to reverse back along the street and into my own drive.
I'd already noted him mounting the pavement to get past some of the builders' vans further along, again, nothing to do with us.
Why is he being so darn impatient? Why are his seconds more important than mine?
I haven't held him up before and we have tried to be good neighbours. So AIBU to think he is rude?
