4d scan yesterday.. looking through the pics again, and it has the best fat cheeks you've ever seen. Seriously. Oh and a button nose. Beat that.

our first baby was so cute my usually doting dh actually said 'Maybe he's not ours - I'm not that good looking, you're not that good looking, but objectively speaking he is at least 50 times better looking than any baby I've ever seen.' Which he was of course, I was convinced all other mums were mad with jealousy!

So sweet to see you all so deluded.

Actually.... after our 12 week scan DH and I were sitting outside waiting for me to have bloods taken and I saw a poster with a scan picture on it advertising something.

i nudged DH and said 'see that embryo? Ours is much cuter than that.'

Is there a no profile photos rule? I don't blame you though, Strawberrycake - that is a particularly lovely baby.

4D babies all look the same and look nothing like their image when they're born btw!!

All babies are beautiful! I was never very interested in babies, but since I had my own I melt at the sight of any and all babies - I'm seriously impressed by the power of maternal whatever it is.

People keep sending me links to baby contests as mine is v v cute but the idea kind of revolts me, babies are so much more than how they look in a photo. Though if I thought she could win free clothes I might be tempted.

DD looked like a cross between an alien and this in her scans. At 12 wks she is now officially the best looking baby ever. Fact.

This is a bit silly, but my DS2 is so cute that strangers regularly stop me in the street to tell me how cute he is. I think this is partly because he likes smiling at people and he always sits happily in buggy smiling.

I think babies were made cute so that no one would mind getting up in the night to look after them. Its part of evolution, and it has ensured the survival of the human race.

My toddler has a very large gap in between her front teeth which just adds to her cuteness.

Ahh bu my ds always puts a smile on people's faces as he runs along side me.
Felt so sorry for him when we were in Spain as he kept getting mugged by hundreds of elderly Spaniards wanting to pinch his plump little cheeks and ruffle his hair!

I think you'll find they have stock images for the 3D scan and they just print them out with your details overlaid.

Actually we can't leave the house for grand dames in furs elbowing each other out of the way to catch a glimpse of my progeny

It does bug me when I get family criticizing how much I cuddle/adore ds. It's what babies are for! He's asleep on my lap like a cat :)
