It's hideous! A load of freaks saying "Nom" and slapping and slurping over a yogurt! Eew...it disgusts me! I will never buy that yogurt now as all I can think of is people who make a lot of noise while eating!

And while I am at it...that bloody Betty Crocker ad with the little boys voice-over "And I get to lick the PATULA!" EEEK!

I know he sounds cute...I admit he does...but it makes my teeth tingle with irritation! AIBU?

Urgh.

Am glad that others get pissed off at that kid going Patula. He deserves to have the spatula taken off him for being so annoying.

I don't think those giggling babies in the cow and gate ad are at all cute either

NONE are as annoying as those evil women of hell in the Halifax adverts, the Isa Isa baby woman and the two bints who knock a mug of tea over.

Ooo, now they make me livid, GetOrf. I won't bank with Halifax EVER because of them.

That nom advert is dreadful - I hadn't seen it before. I hate all dairy food anyway so any advert with people slurping yoghurt makes me feel queasy but that ad is beyond the pale.

I have noticed the use of 'nom nom nom' on threads here about food people like and as I am a grumpy old woman, for some reason that irritates me too. I think it's because it is trying to replicate eating noises that makes it so intolerable.

I wonder why adverts exist apart from to irritate the shit out of me and you guys too by the sound of it! Do you think they know that I actively avoid those products when I shop?

No Spookily...they don't know. They live in a parralel universe advertising people. Where they look at long lists of demographics and other nonsense and use those to ccome up with ideas...and they get it SO wrong.
