No no no the Batman version is
Jingle Bells
Batman smells
Robin flew away
Father Christmas
Lost his knickers
On the motorway
Hey!

KatyMac · 29/10/2010 10:25

It's obviously

Santa Claus lost his draws on the M1 motorway

PandaG · 29/10/2010 10:32

it is

Jungle Bells, Batman smells,
Robin flew away
Kojak lost his lollipop
and landed in the hay - Hey!

emptyshell · 29/10/2010 10:49

My boyfriend while at uni had a very very little brother - and much to his mum's dismay, his father took great pride in teaching him the rugby version of row row row your boat (with the trousers down line) in time for his health visitor checkup - just for maximum embarassment factor.

Lovecat · 29/10/2010 10:49

Jingle Bells,
Batman Smells
Robin Flew Away
The Batmobile
Has lost its wheels
On the M1 Motorway.

Scans and everything.

Well, since the new episode of Peppa Pig on Wednesday morning, I have had DD singing Grampy Rabbit's lighthouse blues banjo number every five minutes (I woke up this morning, the sea was still there, and so was the sky, the sea, the sky, the sea, the sky, the seaaaaaaaaa) which is far worse, so YABU.

LionOnTheFloorInAPoolOfBlood · 29/10/2010 10:52

Jingle Bells
Batman Smells
Robin flew away
Kojak lost his lollipop
And didn't know what to say - hey!

MumBarTheDoorZombiesAreComing · 29/10/2010 11:16

I have the keyboard with the preset too Grin

DS spends all year making up his own versions.

  • usually variations of Batman (or mummy smells Shock). Grin
Ilythia · 29/10/2010 11:20

You lot aren't helping

OP posts:
BrainMash · 29/10/2010 11:32

It actually goes like this

Jingle Bells,
Batman smells,
Robin flew away,
Uncle Billy
lost his willy
on the motorway,
hey!

Grin
Mumi · 29/10/2010 11:55

Ah, DS used to love singing along to "Jingle Bells" being played to him before bed - all year round! - when he was tiny, before he started displaying signs of autism and now can't seem to tolerate any music at all.

Enjoy these precious moments while you can :)

MumBarTheDoorZombiesAreComing · 29/10/2010 17:01

Oh yes the willy one, just had a flashback to ds and friends 2dd's lauching into that one last year in the car. Couldn't really stop them after we pissed ourselves laughing [blush. They were 4&5 at the time. Grin

kreecherlivesupstairs · 29/10/2010 17:16

Yes, the willy. DD sang that with great gusto at her carol concert a couple of years ago.
There was also a line about crashing through the trees on a pair of broken skis and hitting your head on a tree and lots of red.

no one know this version,

jingle bells
batman smells
robin flew away
he landed in a football pitch
and didn't know how to play

wideratthehips · 29/10/2010 19:28

also loved it when dc1 learned when santa got stuck up the chimney at preschool as he would sing it with great gusto and i hadn't heard it in about 28 years! Grin

themothershipcalling · 29/10/2010 19:39

Ahhhh... This explains why my DD has just started singing it.... Bloomin' Nursery!

scottishmummy · 29/10/2010 19:49

all year round is xmas in my house.shrek the halls, jingle bells, peppa xmas

HerGHOULPoirot · 29/10/2010 19:49

Jingle Bells
Batman smells
Robin ran away,
Wonderwoman
Lost her bosom
on the motorway
hey!

I have no idea how you lose your 'bosom' but my brothers and I sang this for years and years as the word bosom was apparently very funny to us.

onepieceoflollipop · 29/10/2010 19:54

I forgot to put Peppa Pig's Christmas away last year (dvd) so we too have had it all year. Thankfully I put "Noddy saves Christmas"away in the spare room so we have been spared that.

dd2 (2.10 at the time) suddenly remembered the words to "we WISH you a Merry Christmas" back in June and sang it for about 2 months on a loop. We had some odd looks in Sainsburys.

onepieceoflollipop · 29/10/2010 19:56

Anyway you are all wrong it is

Jingle Bells
Batman Smells
Robin flew away
Santa wasn't happy and
He ate a Milky Way

What's all this nonsense about motorways?! Grin

cherrybea · 29/10/2010 20:00

No no no, here is the correct version.

Jingle Bells
Batman smells
Robin flew away
Lost his Pants
In the middle of France
And found them in Bombay

Whoever mentioned the keyboard must have the same on as us, been listening to it since last Christmas.

mememe30 · 29/10/2010 20:03

Oh we've always done the uncle Billy lost his willy version ( as I'm so mature) but I'm loving wonderwoman lost her bosom. Must teach children that in the mornig just to upset the stuck up mums round here!!!
