My brother got attacked and mugged last night walking home from the cinema. The thing that surprises me is that the muggers were all girls. He reckons they were 17-18 yo and they punched him to the floor (he has a couple of nasty bruises on his face and some on his chest ). AIBU to be surprised that girls are going round attacking and robbing teenage boys (db is 14 btw).

Its a sad indictment of some of the people in this country I'm afraid

I'm afraid girl gangs are on the rise and they can be as viscous if not more than male gangs.

Still you can give your brother the old
"you got beaten up by a girl" line

Extraordinary sandwich I have to say that does surprise me because ime girls from difficult backgrounds often identify with pg people (IME - I don't really know why but could hazard some guesses) was there any preamble to this? How horrible :(

boys really are at risk in some parts of cities. I think the only thing they can do is hand stuff over instantly (although I can see why they wouldn't want to.)
