... since MDR means mort de rire - dead from laughing and sounds much more poncy than merely laughing out loud.

I may even adopt @+ for "see you later" - à plus.

Heard recently "C'est de la balle" to say "great stuff" could be CDLB must be a fairly new thing as I never heard it while still on the continent.
