"Ready in minutes from frozen, in chicken or bacon and egg flavour" ... The very thought is vile, they make cheese strings look nourishing. Retch.

Hardandsleazy · 17/10/2010 22:11

Thank goodness someone else started this saw this, said WTF to dh (also thought crispy pancakes and those breakfast things that you can put in a toaster)...blurgh

Hardandsleazy · 17/10/2010 22:12

Pop tarts - that was what I meant

Numberfour · 17/10/2010 22:14

YADNBU
vomit deluxe

zisforzebra · 17/10/2010 22:16

YADNBU, they look completely disgusting.

I like the way they've filled the fruit bowl on the work surface with lemons and limes so there's no chance of any viewer thinking "Why doesn't she just give him a banana?"

allhallowsandwine · 17/10/2010 22:25

didn t know you can get pink icing pop tarts. Hmm

lemons may also be used to squirt in kids eye when they ask for a bananna, that'll teach them

valleyqueen · 17/10/2010 23:48

They remind me of toast toppers. My dad tried to serve me it once, apparently it was ham and cheese but looked like vomit on toast. Even at 10 I had the common sense to refuse.

SolidButShamblingUndeadBrass · 17/10/2010 23:55

It may be gross but I now want to try one of these things.
(the only hyped crap junk non-food product I ever really couldn't touch was Sunny Delight. Barf barfity barf).

Ooh, who remembers Toast Topper? I have this sudden massive craving for some bacon and mushroom flavour...

MsToni · 22/10/2010 20:12

Blush Blush Silly me, I spent over 10 minutes in Waitrose looking for them. I gave up and left empty handed......I guess we'll make do with regular toast!!! (I blame my finicky picky 16mo "beg to eat" little man!!!!)

domesticgoddessrunnerup · 06/10/2011 16:54

What would you say to giving these toast me things to a 10 yr old for breakfast? my mother (only child care) is doing just that. I've been lectured on the nutritional content because she's read that protein helps your child concentrate better at school than carbs. I just plain don't like the idea, and not happy....can someone help me with a counter argument?

Growlithe · 06/10/2011 17:01

The advert looks like something the teams dream up when they do the marketing task on The Apprentice

MumdiddyMum · 06/10/2011 20:36

Sorry but they are yummy lol

sweepitundertherug · 06/10/2011 20:50
