To enjoy robbing a pensioner every night to unwind

Alcohol makes me feel like crap, but having a small pensioner to steal from helps me relax and sleep. I don't smoke cigs, do coke, e's, crack etc and generally lead a healthy lifestyle. Work p/t, have 2 DC.

Think I would have grown out of it, gave it up easily when TTC, pregnant and when breastfeeding x 2 (stocking over my head scared the DC), but still enjoy the feeling it brings! AIBU?

I think you are being unreasonable.

I bet you think you can stop anytime you want, don't you? But the truth is you can't. Before you know it you'll be robbing them at 6am as they queue waiting for Tesco to open in three hours time, you'll be hanging around outside wool shops and loitering in the Maeve Binchy section of the library looking for easy prey.

Stop now and get help

Get in now why they have something to steal. Once the cuts come in they will have no dosh to nick.

MN is so funny today, I haven't laughed out loud this much in ages :D

PenelopeTitsDropped · 16/10/2010 15:39

Robbing OAP's is not funny. You should be ashamed.

Unless you turn their fleeces round; and set them off round Tesco's with a trolley

jtop · 16/10/2010 15:42

I think it depends on the pensioner in question. Some of them are just asking for it.

dichotomy · 16/10/2010 15:44

How do you know your DC wont be exposed to the pensioners? Even if you do it outside,it stays on your skin etc

nemofish · 16/10/2010 19:00

Confession: My name is Nemofish and I've been addicted to rolling moldies doing over pensioners for 5 years.

I am doing my best to go straight now, but it isn't easy, and I do have relapses.

Just the smell of lavender water and wee can give me the shakes, I also have to avoid the Post Office on a Wednesday, and I know now that I will never be allowed in the local community centre or the bingo hall in town ever again.

Take each day as it comes, OP.

Be aware that today's pensioners are stronger than previous generations.

Selective breeding and hydroponic growth means that what used to be a harmless granny is now a powerful tool of the devil.

Once you mug one, you may never be the same.

Well, you may think you can stop at a small pensioner, but this is a pernicious habit and it will grow on you. Soon you will find it takes a medium sized one to give you the same relaxing sensation- two or three years down the line, only the outsized pensioner will satisfy your craving. Yes, admittedly pensioners are getting larger and larger- but do you really want to go down this route?

scurryfunge · 16/10/2010 22:14

I just can't help myself..it started with a little sniff in the Debenhams restaurant and I am afraid I progressed to Stannah magazine where I got the ultimate high.

I now have full blown tartantrolleyitis.

I have a secret stash of 'Peoples' Friend' magazines for those lonely nights, when it all gets too much.

It's not the same, though...
