to hate recipes that call for half an egg

I've got an urge to bake biscuits. Rarely I have all imaginable baking ingredients from cream of tartar through to rolled oats.

The last three recipes I've looked at ask for half an egg. I know I could make double but then I'd have 40 biscuits and I'll get fat

So how do you measure half an egg anyway

You have a recipe book that calls for half an egg? Wow that's so hi-tech.

Most of the ones I found online for melting moments called for half an egg too like this one - duramecho.com/Food/MeltingMoments.html

I've found one which just uses the yolk but tbh making double quantities is probably the way forward. My Dc's are 6 footers and appreciate additional biscuits more than miniature omelettes :o

The Hobnobs are amazingly good though
