Seriously. All day, can't stop. I never have the tv on in the day but I can't seem to tear myself away from it and it's just so emotional.

I was going to post exactly the same thing OP. DH and I have been weeping copiously (he works in the industry). I don't even know these people, but I feel like a weight lifted off my chest when I heard that they had started bringing them up.

I have just watched some of the footage on the BBC News Website. It's WONDERFUL!! It was the little girl seeing her Dad again that got me!!! Smile

It is such an emotional day, and such a dangerous task. I feel the joy that the families are going through. My sister was killed underground in a rock fall, so I love to hear of such good news like today. Am waiting with bated breath for the last men to surface...

OldLadyKnowsNothing · 13/10/2010 21:43

I'm sorry for your loss, CheeryCemetery, it must make it all the more poignant for you.

Diziet · 13/10/2010 21:47

Ditto here, CheeryCemetery.Sad
Let's all keep everything crossed that the remaining miners resurface safely [crossed eyes emoticon] xxx
