My friend is due to go into hospital for a biopsy following 2 abnormal smear tests and her putting off going for her 3rd.
At the weekend she had a gush of blood and stomach pains Dr's thought initially she had miscarried but today she has been told further info which has resulted in her having to go for a biopsy.
please ladies if you have like me been avoiding your smear please I beg of you go and have it done as soon as possible.

This lady is a young woman with a young son.I have everything crossed for her it is nothing serious.

I faced my fears and went today after avoiding for 5yrs having it done.

I hope your friend gets the best treatment and that her outcome is good :(

I had mine in the summer. Not scary anymore because of the plastic vice and brush.

you also have to avoid when you're ovulating. basically, the best time is when you've not got gunk coming out! Grin (now, that's TMI)

Always have your smear test; also insist on CA125 if you are unlucky to have ovarian cancer in family - it just might result in early detection and possibly longer term survival.
