ERrrrrrrrr......

DD (4!) is singing "I want to be on X-factor"... after her teacher asked them all if they wanted to be on X-Factor, and if they did they had to practise singing. So they've been singing the register and "I want to be on X-Factor".

Just... no.

The teacher bit is weird, but I wouldn't worry about the rest.

DD says she wants to go on it all the time.
Never gonna happen and I'm sure she'll realise that long before she's 16.

I'm doubting the school more and more. Some of the things that happen there are beyond slack. And irritating. And I am a proper grumpy bastard anyway!

I used to practice at being one of Pans People from top of the pops [old] I soon realised it was not to be Grin

I'm probably being PFB about the school aren't I? I'll channel that into a letter querying their attendance "policy" instead!

Dont worry, she wont get on.

Tokyotwist · 11/10/2010 17:39

Sounds like a very unimaginative teacher and wouldn't he/she expect 4 yr olds to be in bed when x-factor is on?

Hopefully it's just a drop in the ocean and they are also being asked if they want to be teachers, doctors etc... Otherwise, YANBU

YABU its just harmless fun

I took DD to see the X-Factor tour when she was 3.Grin

Maybe she (teacher) thought it might spur them on?

Really though, no need to worry, they grow up.
