I have been for a walk today with my kids in a lovely local forest area, it has designated walks, bird hides and ponds so it is meant to be used by all. But as we were walking around we noticed lots of dog mess bagged and hung on the trees!!!!!what the....! there are bins etc and even if not TAKE IT HOME its so disgusting.

Is this the new thing amongst dog walkers? Driving home we even saw someone do it at the local green!

Can you imagine in months to come the place is going to look like its been strangley decorated!Urgh!!

This is dreadful. People throw the bags into the brambles around our allotment, lovely for blackberry picking.

It's all part of the culture of it being 'someone else's job.' There is no sense of wanting to respect one's surroundings and ensuring other people enjoy them too.

Every walk with small children has a soundtrack of, 'Mind the dog poo, mind the dog p......oh never mind!!'

We have a few round here too that do that - I've never, ever understand it.

I'm afraid I don't sympathise much either with "the dog bins aren't emptied often enough". Really? Well then take it home with you, you skanky midden.

Someone very thoughtfully left a bag of dogpoo on the windowsill of my pub last week. Nice.

Trust me - the bags of dog crap in trees are the not the work of "normal" dog lovers/owners/walkers.

I bet you £20 that someone got their teenager to walk to the dog and sadly it will be their idea of "amusing".

It happens where I live, the most lovely, rural English village imaginable.

Shoot the bloody lot of 'em if I had my way.

I have never seen any dog poo bags on trees, but have seen them at the side of pavements. It is disgusting.

I just ordered one of these after reading about them on MN recently. It stays in our car so that if there is no bin nearby when we are walking the dog, we can dispose of the poo later.

Yuck.

Dirty bastards.

Although Norbert's comment: "I also see quite a few bags of shite hanging from the rear wipers of cars." has made me Grin.

If I had a dog I'd hang a bag on the back wipers of any car with a "Ban the Ban" or "Keep Hunting" sticker. We have lots of those twats round here.
