Is it just me, or is that IKEA ad with all the cats creepy? It freaks me out every time I watch it. AIBU?

Took a while for D's to notice the cats - was too busy identifying all the stuff "we've got that chair mummy, and that light, and that....." now he wants to know when the cats are moving in

And those who are seriously allergic to cats. People like me, who have instant and immediate asthma attack even being near someone who has had cat hair / dander on them.

It does seem rather shortsighted to allow a serious allergen in to a shop, and then just let customers walk in. I mean they wouldn't leave traces of peanut around would they?

Really irresponsible of them IMVHO.

I love it - it's one of the few ads on TV that genuinely make me smile. I'm a massive cat person anyway though, and a massive Ikea person so I'm beyond help.

I still think it's moggie-racist... did you see any black cats on there at all!? Come to think of it - did you see any black and white three legged cats on there? I'm complaining on behalf of wonky-mog that she's being discriminated against... must be worth a free Billy bookcase! (joking btw :D )

I did say to dh when we saw it the first time (and loved it) that they would need to produce an equivalent one for dog people!

Yabu- the Ginger one at the end is the image of mine. They should deeeeefinitly do a dog one, I'd love that!
