I'm so fucked off, I know IABU but I don't even care, its gone 4.30am and I'm up with horrendous heartburn and I cant sleep thanks to it, I would be asleep if "DH" hadn't decided to come to bed a a decent hour and didn't wake me at 4am because when I went to bed at 12.30am he wasn't tired, and would rather stay up on his fucking playstation 3, if he hadn't of woken me I could still be asleep without the agony that is heartburn.

I have no milk (the only cure for me) because he forgot to buy it when he went down the shop last night (his only responsibilty), I couldn't go to the shop myself as I am not "allowed" out at night because "it's too dangerous" according to "DH" so I couldn't buy it myself and we had loads in the fridge before DC's went to bed (they still have milk at night and when DS2 wakes in the night) but was running low at 9pm so "DH" went to the shop and came back with cigerettes for himself and a drink but forgot the milk!!!

He is now in bed fast asleep an I am contemplating smashing his PS3 up to make myself feel better then, when the shops open at 7am go get myself some milk, come back wake "DH" so he can deal with the DC's and I'm going back to bed, AIBU?

No you are NBU

I fully sympathise with the wide awake thing - I have leg cramps and I hate it! Have you ever considered having your milk delivered ?

rpickett · 07/10/2010 04:53

yeah we did that for a while but we were paying nearly double for the convinence so "DH" said he would cancel it and go to the shop after the DC's were in bed and buy it, an ouch to the cramps not fun.

Oh and my DH comes to bed late too - then puts his bedlight on to read and falls asleep with it on so I have to get out of bed to go round and turn it off!

sapphireblue · 07/10/2010 07:20

YANB at all U. Kill the bastard Grin

Seriously though, I hope you're tucked up in bed and DH is dealing with morning mayhem.

MrsSnaplegs · 07/10/2010 07:24

Rpickett hope you got back to sleep I'm off to work

rpickett · 07/10/2010 12:53

Feeling better now, went down the shop when it opened at 7am for some milk, woke DH up when the dc's woke up at 7.30 and crawled back int bed till 11am that'll teach him [EVIL LAUGH]

Exactly.

kreecherlivesupstairs · 07/10/2010 12:58

And why was he coming to bed so late. Sounds like you have an extra child if he just wants to smoke and play on his toys.

ConnorTraceptive · 07/10/2010 12:58

Mrssnaplegs milk works for leg cramps to (well did for me)

PinkElephant73 · 07/10/2010 13:04

The phrase that jumped out here was "Not allowed out at night".

WTF?

Gibbon · 07/10/2010 13:16

How does he get up for work going to bed at that time? Blimey, I would be useless.

And 'not allowed out?' Hmm

rpickett · 07/10/2010 13:50

He works night shift so on his nights off he is stuck in the routine of staying up, it pisses me off but I can understand it (when I am feeling rational, unlike this morning).

As for not being allowed out at night, we live in a roughish area smack in the middle of town so there can be a lot of trouble about and at 8mths pregnant he doesn't want me to risk a confrontation, If I wasn't pregnant I would tell him to get stuffed and go anyway.
