Feeling a bit inflamable and would just like people's opinions!

Sentence is:

"Restricting my one-year-olds access to TV/food additives/salt/processed foods/artificial sweeteners/excessive sugar/excessive saturated fat makes me a........"

Thankies!

... good mother.

After all you didn't say you wanted to ban any of it. Everything in moderation.

retiredgoth2 · 06/10/2010 20:39

...easy because he/she is a baby. I'll be fucked when they go to school, though...

BelleDameSansMerci · 06/10/2010 20:40

...normal so long as you're not obsessive and don't go all annoyingly preachy about it.

proudnglad · 06/10/2010 20:41

Do you mean inflammatory or are you literally about to burst into flames?

BelleDameSansMerci · 06/10/2010 20:41

Oh and that doesn't mean that I did all this - I think age appropriate tv is a blessing.

LifeIsButtercream · 06/10/2010 20:42

Yey! Enjoying the variety of responses.

Don't mean to be smug/preachy - we all raise our children differently but we all do it with the best of intentions.

I went a bit mad about salt Blush. I wouldn't give DD bread because it has salt in it. Hey ho... She's now 3 and eats just about anything although she only had crisps for the first time a couple of weeks ago (and loves them, obviously) - thank you dear Stepfather. Grin

scottishmummy · 06/10/2010 20:49

I assume the OP has been told that doing the above makes her and wants reassurance that other people don't necessarily think so.
