It is 10.30 am here. They are still in bed while I clean up the kitchen and supervise the DC's homework.

They have not got up and out of the house before 11:30am this week.

I have lots to do and cannot fo it cause it is either in cellar where the guest room is or noisy.

or 'Ya Mutha' by D.O.A.

funtimewincies · 06/10/2010 10:00

Has to be Led Zeppelin's 'Immigrant Song' Grin.

MmeLindt · 06/10/2010 10:15

THEY ARE UP!

Will save Led Zeppelin and your other fab suggestions for the next time. Didn't listen to your links yet, but will do when they go out.

Send them to the bakery! Even if it's in the next town!

Glitterknickaz · 06/10/2010 10:58

This brings back memories of a sleepover when I was 15... my mate would NOT wake up so I got another friend's micro stereo, put the speakers each side of his head and played

The initial lyrics are somewhat appropriate Grin

joydivisionovengloves · 06/10/2010 11:02

It's never unreasonable to play ACDC and Dirty Deeds is a good choice!

LittleMissHissyFit · 06/10/2010 11:03

I can't believe you missed the chance to blast them with.... THIS!!

This has to be played at full volume... and then some!

Turn it down a smidge only when ears start to bleed...

kreecherlivesupstairs · 06/10/2010 11:05

MmeLindt. Surely some Guggi music would be appropriate. Either that or a medley of alphorn stuff.

kreecherlivesupstairs · 06/10/2010 11:05

Mme Lindt. Surely it is time to introduce them to the Guggiband or some alpenhorn stuff.

kreecherlivesupstairs · 06/10/2010 11:06

whoops Blush

MmeLindt · 06/10/2010 11:58

Kreecher
Don't think I know the Guggi music. I do like Thierry Lang's Swiss jazz music but it would have been too relaxing this morning.

Guests are gone, so I am treating myself to another cup of coffee and some chocolate.

You don't know what you've missed out on Hmm. Fastnacht was a riot when we lived in Zug. Really pissed people from a village make a band up consisting of every known instrument from tubas to drums and roll them round the streets at 5am on the first day. It was the only time we ever saw a Swiss person enjoy themselves.

AbsofCroissant · 06/10/2010 13:04

Are they around tomorrow as well? Maybe try yodelling then, see what happens.

pluperfect · 06/10/2010 14:42

There's always the passive-aggressive solution of Grieg's "Song of the Morning", whose music SWELLS - so, so innocently LOUD but lyrical!

pissovski · 06/10/2010 15:36

Back in Black and Highway To Hell (AC/DC)
Followed by
Sweet Child O Mine and Paradise City (Guns n Roses)
Topped up by
Basketcase, American Idiot and Minority Greenday - Minority must be played extra loud!)
Finished off with
Animals (Nickelback)
Cum on feel the Noize (Slade) and
Who Says You Can't Go Home (Bon Jovi)

I love all these - but think they would wake even the heaviest of sleepers up!!!

pluperfect · 06/10/2010 16:18

Oh, yes, Paradise City - zdorovo, pissovski! I was thinking about that earlier! That was a big one for blasting out windows at college.

'Wake Up It's a Beautiful Morning' - the Boo Radleys.

For when they don't get up tomorrow now, obviously...

MmeLindt · 06/10/2010 21:00

They have gone. Went home this morning. And I just realized that they never even brought a hostess gift. Not even a cheap bottle of wine.

pluperfect · 07/10/2010 15:06

Well, no hostess gift, no lie in! Obviously. Grin
