No, that's not what she said. She said that hypothetically, if SBG had children who had died, she might understand. Someone got a bit report-happy on there.
The lack of empathy on that thread is disgusting, and now I can't bring myself to have any respect for one or two of those posters.

You're right some people are utter twats. It is not always like this though, when I was pg with DD a mum sent their infected child off to be looked after by me 'cos they didn't want to take time off work. I turned out to be immune, and all was well - but lots of MNers were lovely and supportive while I waited to find out.

YANBU. There are some nasty people on here, just as there are in RL. I lurk a lot and was following the CP thread. I couldn't find the words to express what I was feeling and still can't. It was dreadful.
