Yes I know, national treasure, cancer survivor, we all love the little poppet, lovely arse, blah blah but my god! What a whiney, annoying voice she has, and every song is a generic 'let's appeal to the gays and try and get another slot at G.A.Y as they are they only people who still love me' euro pop. She's pushing 40 for goodness sake. Can't she leave it to teenagers?

I would have hoped, given the blokes she's shagged she would be a lot more interesting and have a wicked, if jaded, wit about her. In the manner of Sharon Stone...

But she's not really is she? She's blander than bland.

She is bland. We always knew it, back in the Neighbours / I should be so lucky days. Somehow she reinvented herself as cool and edgy and marvellous.

But she remains the same bleurgh person.

Did anyone see her on (panics, can't remeber his name) that chat show hosted by that northern comic recently? I almost fell asleep with boredom. She has nothing to say and what she says is utter tedium.

She is a complete bore but I think that's because she was a showbiz/stage school brat (I think) and hasn't known any other world. I suspect she's had a lot of boyfriends because she's actually really rather dull.

Saw her live years and years ago and she had to have back-singers for all of the high notes

Shes 46! - shares the same birthday as my friend - but somehow over the years her age has changed yet my friends hasnt!
I can't get annoyed by her to be honest, easy to avoid!

She is 42. SO is Julia Roberts.

She has a vocabulary of around 50 words which makes her unbearable to listen to when being interviewed or hosting a radio show.

Severely lacking in conversational skills.

She's almost ( but not quite) as annoying as bloody Maddona.
Even DH had gone off her - and he has had a thang for her for many years - as she looks so fake now.

She is DULL. Have you ever heard her spout an actual opinion?? I haven't.
She is bland, insipid and nothing-y.
If she actually has a personality then I lose even more respect for the fact she's happy to hide it for the sake of being "national treasure".
