He has a clicky jaw and I assume a hollow head as even though his mouth is shut I can hear every chew.

And to think that if he is too ill to work he shouldn't be able to cook himself a huge breakfast (and then take it back to bed) and eat a ginormous baguette with cheese and pickle?

Hmm

OK I am. I know. But mondays are my day for total and utter solitude for 6 whole blissful hours......

Definitely not unreasonable. I have to have music on or leave the room when OH is eating. I listened to a feature òn the radio once about misophonia and there was a woman who'd never been able to sit and eat a meal with her husband for 30 years cos of it.
