Why have my last years merino cardis got holes in them?

They have not been stored anywhere, just in my chest of drawers in the bedroom.

Defo not been nibbled by moths etc.

The holes seem to have just developped and I am mega PO as they were expensive to buy in the first place.

Now will have to Google the basics of darning and I'm too tight to throw away. Angry

Moths or mice.

sethstarkaddersmum · 27/09/2010 13:23

why are you definite it's not moth?

darning is very satisfying, do darn them Smile

FanjolinaJolie · 27/09/2010 13:23

No mice poo-poos, and I honestly don't think it's moths but I could be wrong.

V annoying.

Just because all the items have been stored in our bedroom, in chest of drawers which are kept closed, so I have neither noticed the moths flying about nor know how they could get into the drawers.

Stealth moth perhaps?

Stealth Moth Wink

FanjolinaJolie · 27/09/2010 13:28

Good grief.

It actually exists.

I think I'll have to store my merinos in bloody zip lock bags now.

or use mothballs or some nicer-smelling alternative.
