to want to thank the lady in a blue mazda on M25

We were travelling on M25 this morning at about 9.30 on the fast lane. Couple of cars before us suddenly slowed down, but the breaks in our car did not work. All I remeber is me shouting at my husband to slow down as I could see us crashing into this convertable blue mazda(not sure about the make). The lady herself was able to break on time and get out of our way by 10 cm...I am still shaking. We were going out for a fun family day and it could have gone soo wrong. We never got a chance to say thank you to her as we had to move out of the motorway all togather, but I have been thinking of that woman all day as I dont think she realised how lucky she was avoiding us at 70ml/h crashing on her back. So whoever you are THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!

Because I was in a line of traffic, my option was to move left into metal railings or right into the oncoming traffic. I'm not sure what he expected me to do tbh just another hothead idiot.

OK. Sorry. You sayd you 'wouldn't' move, not that you couldn't.

iliketosleep · 29/09/2010 15:09

No was meant that because I wouldn't move because I couldn't. If I was on my own I wouldn't move if I could though....

Mmm why is it when people are so clearly wrong, they utter the immortal words "GET A LIFE"?

My ghastly neighbour said it to me not that long ago when we politely asked for her daughter to turn the music down at her party it's now a standing joke in our house.

OP - I have been dazzled by the brilliance of your arguments in your last two posts and am now prepared to abandon my previous stance and accept that no, you were entirely reasonable and should, in fact, be praised for your good manners in seeking to thank this Mazda-driving angel.
The fact that posters on this thread have been terribly impolite to you does indeed entirely negate said posters' otherwise valid points.
You win.
