My PFB has just started in reception so I'm new to all this. I know someone will probably tell me I should be posting this on a different forum, probably Domestic Goddess Chat or some such like, but I know you lot will give me a faster answer.

I'm suspicious the iron-on ones will fall off after a few hot washes, but cannot face the drudgery of sewing them all in.

I sew them in and, when the clothes no longer fit I remove them and reuse them (another glutton for punishment) I have 200 of the flipping things, my poor DD will be going to uni with her things labelled Grin
Have used the ones from mynametags too though, they're pretty good

Label Planet's stick on labels. Amazing. Dishwasher/microwave/washing machine/tumble dryer safe. NOT iron safe (they are vinyl).

Just make sure the material is perfectly flat - they do NOT come off again Grin

sew on... you only need a couple of stiches in each end. They make good hangers inside shirts/sweatshirts too.

I generally iron on. I've had very good experience of easy2name. They've stayed on for years.

However can I also suggest the alternative of using permanent pen on the care label which is the option I"m now increasingly favouring!

MrsCrafty · 16/09/2010 23:48

I ironed many of these onto my DS clothing.

They fell off, so now I use the pen. Big letters on his collar.
