To feel intense irritation that people keep mispelling this word

Lately...on FB and various other internet communities I keep reading the word "Boak" or "Boke" when people are describing themselves being disgusted by something...surely they mean "Balk"

It really annoys me! I'm not a spelling and grammar Nazi....I'm not perfect by any means!

But this...aaaaagggggghhhhhh! It GETS TO ME Angry

Boak means vomit. Poke means bag.

Therefore a "boak poke" is an airline's sick bag. There's a new phrase for you all (except fellow Scots). Wink

I asked my Scots SIL if she had eaten enough. She said she was as

It was quite a scary moment

Right...I have Boked and boaked at the thought of my foolishness...now I balk at the thought of adding to this thread again!
