Sorry I meant to say "see above" when I posted.

and x posted

YANBU.

I've only read a few and there are some where people post a lighthearted AIBU thread like 'AIBU to not like custard' and the responses like they've just said 'am I being unreasonable to deny the holocaust'!

I imagine the hostile respondants to AIBU are the same people who say 'have you got a problem?', when you glance in their direction on the bus.

scottishmummy · 12/09/2010 00:09

the irony of posting anonymously what youd say to someone face, well here da ting.on line thre is no one face only pc and words on a screen so all this- ah telt ye is daft.online the typed word is everything.the spoken word is nowt.absent.and ultimately none of it really matters

WinkyWinkola · 12/09/2010 00:11

Yanbu. It can be vicious. MN should give each new member info on this partic area.. .. .. ..

scottishmummy · 12/09/2010 00:12

the feeding and nursery topics them burds can flame.least on aibu its apparent what you may encounter.

HeathcliffMoorland · 12/09/2010 00:13

Winky, very true!

I first joined under another name and innocently posted something very tame (can't even remember what now). Boy was I flamed!

I ran a mile, I did.

I wonder why AIBU is so vicious? It's a very bullying arena imo. I've not got a lot of time for it to be honest because I think it shows MNers at their very worst.

I'd love there to be an RL AIBU arena where those who had really tucked in had to stand up and say what they'd posted.....they'd fill their pants.

online never get pc strangers to met let alone have a deep felt reflection.maybe folk post online for the range and depth of answers they wouldnt get face to face
