to dice the courgettes

I like to chop a courgette thus:

• lengthways
• then lengthways again

(so now I have four long pieces, are you with me)

• then each piece chop roughly every 1cm or so

this gives you evenly shaped courgette 'dice' about 1cm in each direction..perfect for frying in olive oil and garlic.

AIBU? (because Mrs Stubborn doesn't chop like this)

I shave mine into ultra thin slices lengthways and then griddle. delicious warm or cold on salads
