whenever i see him he looks miserable he never says hello or smiles not even to the children. In fact the only time he seems to speak is to pull someone up on something even the parents. Now i realise he does have to have some sort of presence to show some sort of authority to the parents and children but this is a primary school.Yesterday he was stood on the school gate monitoring who was coming into the school grounds but not one hello or smile. I remember i had a lovely head master at my school who knew most of the peoples names and always said good morning to the children or hello but yet always maintained authority without seeming too cold.

Teachers moto - " don't smile till Christmas" ment to make you seem like you shouldn't be messed with.

Some teachers are on an enormous ego trip. I suspect he is one of them.

I get that with DS's headmistress. Most of the time she looks at me as if I were a piece of poo on her shoe.

If you are the head of a school you should have some basic people skills.
