My sil went through this whole thing about not eating meat because she couldn't bare the sight of it.
The odd bacon slice was okay because it doesn't look like meat Hmm.

We have all gone out of our way to cook her special meals and the fuss made when we try to order out is nothing short of cringe worthy.

Today, she was telling us about this fab restaurant that she and her DH went to. And guess what they ordered? Foie blooming Gras.

I'm sat there thinking is it just me who can see something wrong with this picture? Apparently yes it is, as the conversation continued without so much as a blip. Well that is if you discount my "Really, do you know how that's made. I can't believe you ate that". To which she replied " yes I do, but it was absolutely lovely". Angry

Veggiemyarse - hmm feel a little led up the garden path.... does she actually say she's vegetarian? If not, then no bother and she's as entitled as the next person to choose what she does and doesn't want to eat. There are many people who wont eat chunks of meat...

I so agree with Sanielle (to a point) I am a vegetarian and when I hear someone saying they won't eat meat from the bone... I tend to think they should reevaluate their beliefs on meat eating. Clearly they have some issues with it and rather than just pretending they aren't eating meat.. maybe should consider why they don't like eating it off the bone. Have you considered vegetarianism?
