Do so. I often wish that gags were more socially acceptable, esp. with the shreiking brat next door to me.

OnlyWantsOne · 03/09/2010 18:51

Yes, and on your way back could you get my drunken retired neighbour, who has spent the afternoon drinking wine and shouting at her grandkids in the garden next door Hmm

greenfly · 03/09/2010 18:53

oh I can take yelling, crying (get a lot of that as dd has sn) but screaming for no good reason.......
my mum back in the very dark ages always told me not to scream when playing, as no on would know when I was hurt or in trouble.

Screaming girls annoy the fuck out of me. Why must they scream? How can it possibly afford them any pleasure? How can they not realise it's annoying?

Skyrg · 03/09/2010 19:11

Can I borrow the gag afterwards? Or perhaps I need a bigger one for an adult? Kids on the road behind our flat play nicely, but their mother comes out shrieking and swearing at them '**ing get in 'ere now!'

2shoes · 03/09/2010 19:12

There must be some nonsense you can tell them.. if they scream too much their eyes will fall out, or something?

lemonysweet · 03/09/2010 19:29

HOW DARE YOU VIOLENT THREAD TITLES OFFEND MY DELICATE DISPOSITION.

seriously though, gag away. we had this where i used to live with a group of kids about 12-13. why screaming? just yell quitely or something.

TheCrackFox · 03/09/2010 19:35

Can you gag the boy who came round to play earlier? He was very irritating.

geraldinetheluckygoat · 03/09/2010 19:36
Skyrg · 03/09/2010 19:46

Lemony don't be silly, you can gag someone very gently :)

mamatomany · 03/09/2010 19:49

Screaming annoys me too i can cope with anything but screaming unless their head has fallen off or other serious injury.

DontCallMeBaby · 03/09/2010 19:55

I had DD and two little mates screaming in the garden the other day - the cat had apparently got stuck behind the garage. No, he was perfectly okay, not stuck, just hiding from the SCREAMING CHILDREN, poor little sod. He reappeared once I'd gagged them reasoned with them as to why they should quit screeching.

rainrainrainsun · 03/09/2010 19:59

yanbu - the child next door screams her head off constantly.Should add I do not mind the sound of children playing.Dear god it sounds like she is being murdered. She is about 8 sorry but mine would be told to quieten down .

mamatomany · 03/09/2010 20:17

I have been known to shout are you ok to next doors screamers, then when they say yes, "oh it's just that I thought you were being murdered" or something along those lines.
