No.

DuelingFanjo · 02/09/2010 21:02

not sure I understand...

Your children or other people's children?

If yours and you have't given her permission - then YANBU; ask her to remove them.

If other people's children - do you know if they mind or not?

Also, the friend's permissions may be very limited and only certain people be able to see them.

I have photos of children not belonging to me on my FB, but their mums know and are fine with it. Also, I set my privacy permissions on photos t friend sonly, and some to just spefific friends only.

Nope. A lot of Facebooking is performed by sad losers who want everyone to think their life is a mad social whirl........it isn't.

Bonkerz · 02/09/2010 21:57

lmao my social life is far from a whirl but i am always on the go so my status updates seem hectic and my life seems full! I am however NOT a sad loser!

Are you saying that this friend is claiming to have been at/organised/taken part in events that she wasn't even present at and is using photos of other people's children from said events to support this? Or are you annoyed that, although she has been at this event, she has taken photos of other people's children and is posting them? If the former, completely unacceptable - if the latter, then it is possible that she has permission to post the pics?

I'm quite a cynic about photos on internet sites and have asked one of my friends to remove a photo she posted of my DD once. She was fine about it and understood.

My husband was searching for someone through Google the other day for business reasons and discovered personal family photos that they had (inadvertently?) uploaded to a photo website... pictures of his wife and children in the bath! Shock
