.....scream. He is 8 years old FFS. 8 year old boys do not need mobile phones. He doesn't understand that they

a. cost money to buy
b. cost money to run

He won't need to ring me because I'm with him FFS.

Anyone else having this problem or is it just me?

I think that yr 7 is old enough, I managed to hold out till my DS1 turned 12 and he has managed to leave it behind in several places in the few weeks he has owned it.

I'm getting this from dd who is 6 in a couple of weeks about a ds. "all my friends have one". Not withstanding the cost i'm not totally against the idea but dh is and I know a couple of kids who are permanently glued to them. Dd has free range with the pc and Wii fit but I really feel like the big bad wolf at the mo.
