to be angry at sodding Tesco and their sodding kids clothes?

Sorry about the rant - nipped in to Tesco to get a couple of pairs of trousers for my dd 10 months. Nothing fits her as the 'fashion' is for skinny jeans and trousers and they looked really tight and uncomfortable on her chubby thighs. And don't get me started about the hideous demim hotpants for 1 year olds!!
Can't they just make normal sodding jeans and trousers anymore?
Rant over.

lol.. children come in all shape and sizes. My daughter is very petite and Tescos 9 to 12 month clothes are loose on her at 16 months. I am sure that your lo will slim down as soon as she is mobile.

I agree that some of the clothes are completely tasteless. However its not complusory to buy them.

I suggest you go Sainburys or ASDA for clothes.

I know this is a bit unrelated, but I have to say, I find it difficult to find bloody Jeans that fit me! I'm an average height and weight, jeans fit my waist but not my thighs! I don't think they realise people are different shapes...

So much sympathy! Good luck finding better jeans

Tesco sold something that was cheap crap?

Who would have thought?

Wherehas, I have dreadful trouble getting trousers for DS. They all fall down because he's got such a skinny little waist.
DD wears boys' trousers in the main, for much the same reasons as you've just described (she does have hand-me-downs from her big brother but I also just buy her boys' stuff now).
Skyrg me too, though they always fit my hips but gape at my waist.

Yeah, everyone's right. Just, you know. Grrrrrr.

I recommend H&M. I discovered their kids clothes recently for 2.5yo DD.......they have normal jeans/trousers and lovely adjustable waist bands (DD needs age 2-3 because she is tall but other brands will literally fall to the floor when I put them on her!).

Seconding Hennes. They do really cute clothes for kids that actually look like kids clothes, and last forever. I have a dress that DD has now worn for over a year and half, and she's 2.5yo now.

Asda are great if baby is bit on the chubby side- have got majority of baby/toddler clothes from there for my chubby now nearly 3 year old.

Recently bought some tops in H&M (DD massive hello kitty fan) and was impressed at how generous they were in size. Most places I have to buy at least one size bigger than DD's actual age becuase she is both tall and "well built" but the actualy fit her properly, and they wash really well.
