Which will be up and running in a few weeks, and is being tested now.

And suggest all the Boden addicts go there instead Grin

Honestly, a forum just for Boden customers? All jokes aside, it seems weird...

Jack Wills is rubbish thankfully I've steered mine onto American Apparel/Eagle etc :)

Alouiseg · 18/08/2010 22:41

Now an Abercrombie & Fitch forum could be fun....toned, tanned half naked men, dark grey chat room with flashes of white gloss, musky sickly scent, pumping music......

2kids2dogsandahorse · 18/08/2010 22:44

Mmmmmm I'm getting your drift Grin

snoozathon · 18/08/2010 22:44

Alouise that sounds a bit like a gay club! Grin

2kids2dogsandahorse · 18/08/2010 22:46

I've never been/seen a gay club I'm now wondering if it's worth hanging around sightseeing....

DorotheaPlenticlew · 18/08/2010 22:49

Nobody will take them up on this, surely? Who on earth would frequent a Boden forum? Why?

2kids2dogsandahorse · 18/08/2010 22:51

Oh I think I would purely for the craic Grin

Housewife2010 · 18/08/2010 22:54

There's a Boden Facebook page. I joined to find out sale dates, but got very fed up of the Bodenites moaning 50 times a day about the delay in posting product reviews & mainly of them filling up my facebook page with multiple photos of their children in their Boden finest.

DorotheaPlenticlew · 18/08/2010 23:05

PMSL at photographing your children in Boden to "share" with their marketing people.

How many of those people are secretly hoping for a call from Johnnie's PA to say "We'd love it if little Isabella and Jago could appear in next year's catalogue -- they really have that certain Boden something"

snoozathon · 18/08/2010 23:41

IMO it's incredibly overpriced, for the adult stuff anyway. Good quality fabrics but awful shape and design, and the cheesy marketing doesn't really do anything at all for me. I spent £65 on a cardigan there and it was half-price the following week Angry

You're buying into something by shopping there, but I was underwhelmed by the actual products. I like the idea of shopping there for things like winter boots, but I think Hobbs or Jigsaw is a safer bet for the money.

DorotheaPlenticlew · 18/08/2010 23:43

Boden, Schmoden. I am so their target market in some ways; I love buying children's clothes and I have a ds with what I am assured is Boden hair Hmm

But the stuff just looks a bit ugh to my eye. (Except a wee autumn dress I did see for baby dd with a pear on it, which was sort of appealing )

MollieO · 19/08/2010 00:09

Since when on earth did Boden become upper middle class aspirational? Surely it is basic middle class.

Nettiespagetti · 19/08/2010 00:27

Boden smoden indeed! The day I have a friend who wears Boden is the day I'll be...:.hmmm my dm wear Boden. I always called it Biden as in old biddies staying in!?!?

Oops Think I better run away

Emo76 · 19/08/2010 07:42

Boden are well up themselves..I find their marketing totally patronising and consequently the whole Boden "image" unappealing. I certainly wouldn't bother to post that on their stupid forum though!

domesticsluttery · 19/08/2010 08:00

You can set their FB page to only post what they say on your newsfeed, that way you get the offers etc without having to look at all the fan photos.

But a Forum? Hmm
