(just seen this as someone's status on FB and for some reason it made me a bit cross.)

What a stupid stupid stupid quote!!!! Makes me so angry. My son was diagnosed with cancer at 2.5 years old and then it came back at 3 years old. What the hell did he ever do to suffer like that??? Crikey, I'm outraged beyond belief!!!! Rant over (but still fuming inside!!!!).

spiritmum · 18/08/2010 11:07

AT, I am so sorry to hear that. How is he now?

Snobear4000 · 18/08/2010 11:28

AT, religious flakes would insult your poor son by contriving a story about how he probably was Hitler in a previous life. I share your outrage. And I do wish a most triumphant recovery and long happy life for your boy.

Thank you, Spiritmum :) Maybe you could cast a few secret airborne runes in the direction of my mental health & self-compassion? Sort that out and I reckon the physical symptoms will sort themselves!

AT, fwiw I'm wishing full health for your little boy. x

Hi spiritmum and snobear, thank you for your kind words. He is doing great now thank you, he had to have a bone marrow transplant as chemotherapy was not enough and he is now 16 months post transplant and, although recovering slowly, he is nearly back to normal. He starts school on the 6th Sept so I am unbelievably proud of him :o)

spiritmum · 19/08/2010 08:30

Oh wow, how exciting! My ds is starting around then too so I'll be thinking of you both. Smile
