chilipepper - I tried to find your thread but haven't (I haven't mastered the search thing yet) - I've found MN brilliant too overall, but sometimes been a bit shocked by certain harshness. Ignore the flamers I reckon, they're usually bored. Even if someone's really out of order I would try and be moderate as you never know someone's state of mind or their actual circumstances. I think that's sometimes forgotten even by well meaning posters. Hope it's going well with your DS, I found the first few months hard with my DD1 but it got easier and easier.
