DS3 is seven months and a complete joy. He's just started babbling and has come out several times with something which sounds very much like 'Mamamamama'

Now i know babies usually say 'Dada' first as it's easier for them to say, but AIBU in ringing the manshape and rubbing it in telling him DS3 said 'Mama' first? Grin

DDs first word was no Blush. Followed by hello, up and ap(ple). She is 15 months and is only making an attempt at mum now.

Better than DS1 whos first words were "gocar" (lets go for drive in the car) Nice to know where his priorities were Wink

YANBU!

Your heart must have burst!

I am going to make sure that when DS gets to proper babbling age he constantly hears 'mamamamama'!

Morloth · 14/08/2010 20:43

DS1's first word was "Mmmmmmmmmmummma", I can't believe how excited I was the first time he said it. Now I hear "MUM!?" and I think "Gah, say Dad for a change".
