To think MPs should talk to their constituents

When I emailed this MP for help on an education issue, I was told he wasn't holding surgeries currently and to write a letter. 1 month on still no reply and now he says he holds regular surgeries .... not so I've noticed.

YANBU...what's he doing if he's not talking to his constituents?

So he wants people to email or write to him, but wants to take email contact form off the website, and is holding regular surgeries but is not holding regular surgeries?

I posted about him in In The News. He's ridiculous! What does he think his job entails? And how does he think he got the job? Confused

Maybe all these mean constituent should give the poor man a break - and not vote him in again.

Mine now is pretty good - although the MP where I used to live actually lied to me. Which was nice Hmm

I'm sure the parliamentary ombudsman has taken action against MPs who refused to deal with or respond to their constituents in the past. Might be worth getting in touch?

I see he's now holding some public forums in the next week or so (see his blog) - if you can sit through the waffle in the first part of the meeting, a good opportunity to ask a question perhaps. At least he'll have a face to the name and will have to undertake to work with you going forward if tackled publicly...

one would hope!
