.... looking for DH`S ex wife.
Im not happy about this.
They are asking for her by her firstname , then her own maiden name.
Apparently she has given my phone number as contact number for debts she has ran up.

I have told them , she does not live here , never has done and is in no way connected to this address or phone number .They still keep phoning .

So next time i get anyone asking for Cxxxxx Exwifey im going to give them her mobile number and address ! AIBU ?

Make sure DH hadnt secretly agreed to help clear some of the debt. He may still feel some responsibility for ex. Was it he who ended their marriage?

People who fraudulently take out credit normally give address also, which ex hasnt done (?).

DH is furious with her .
He has told me to tell the debt people her numbers ,address ect.

They split a long time ago ,(they just grew apart) and then there was thousands of pounds of debt which had been ran up by her.
DH took the debts and paid them off because she didnt work then , and he felt it was the right thing to do.

Apparently the ex has ran up debts after then , and is trying to dodge them.
She`s put our home phone number down when she applied for credit from a home furnishing shop.

She thinks she has the right to do this because shes dhs ex wife .
I think she is being spitefull because now that dd1 is 18 , engaged and working, DH has reduced the maintenence payments. She still gets 3 times what the csa recomended ,and dh buys what the boys (ds1 and ds3) need.

I used to like her , and thought of her as a friend . Sad .
