a forged document (upheld), intentional witholding of information legally obliged to be given (proven) and intent to deceive (proven and ongoing).

your most likely and least likely professions would be received with great interest and enthusiasm.

needless to say I am horrified! Shock

violethill · 06/08/2010 12:34

Ex-public school pupil Grin

(Following on from notgrannyyet's suggestion!)

sapphireblue · 06/08/2010 12:37

well it could be any profession really, couldn't it?

Mingg · 06/08/2010 12:38

So what's the right answer then?

notagrannyyet · 06/08/2010 12:39

A privately educated person could never be dishonest.....they learn the national anthem! and spend Saturday mornings playing cricket and rugby.

MummyBerryJuice · 06/08/2010 12:40

Health care professional

gagamama · 06/08/2010 12:43

Least likely: librarian, dog groomer, window cleaner, tailor, supermarket assistant.

Most likely: any healthcare/teaching/legal/law-enforcement profession

WTF though?

notagrannyyet · 06/08/2010 12:43

I do wish I hadn't posted that!

prettyfly1 · 06/08/2010 12:45

Oh op hurry up and tell us.

Jux · 06/08/2010 12:47

Oh FGS. This has become boring.

TartyMcFarty · 06/08/2010 12:50

Police Officer or political leader

fabsoopergroovy · 06/08/2010 12:52

Wow, fantastic response with one person correct and a few very close! And a number very closely related in a very obscure way. Thanks for that.

Would you, as a parent, feel the right to know that your childs Headteacher was found guilty of pretending to be an LEA employee and forging a document given to a parent about that parents child and of witholding information requested under FoI legislation?

Am I being naive in my belief that the state education system advocates a Headteacher as being honest, trustworthy and having integrity?

Shouldn't it be a Headteachers responsibilty to put the children at their school first?

Please tell me I'm not the only one - I really feel I'm fighting a losing battle here!

Thanks - comments and advice truly appreciated.

Maybe I should start a new thread - what do you think?

OP posts:
notagrannyyet · 06/08/2010 13:00

What's FoI ?

fabsoopergroovy · 06/08/2010 13:03

Freedom of Information - sorry.

OP posts:
StealthPolarBear · 06/08/2010 13:14

yes i think you need to start a new thread, but no yanbu that is dreadful

notagrannyyet · 06/08/2010 13:17

Of course it's wrong. HT or anyone in a similar possition should be trustworthy etc.

I'm sure (hope!) most are. Presumably HT will have to explain their actions to the LEA. I wouldn't want to keep my DC at the school.

Maybe you do need to start a separate thread.

Are we to understand that a HT has bent the rules in order to assist a child? I'm confused.

mablemurple · 06/08/2010 14:17

If this is a regular state school then surely the HT is a LA employee? Also, FoI requests can be denied if, for example, they compromise the privacy of, say, another pupil. You need to give us the full story and stop dripfeeding.

arses · 06/08/2010 15:19

Agreed, dripfeeding is most irritating. It suggests you think our time is less valuable than yours.

Fibilou · 06/08/2010 15:22

Barrister

Bathsheba · 06/08/2010 17:11

I have absolutely no idea what on earth you are going on about...

I suggest you start a new thread, with a proper narrative of the actual incident that happened, and what your opinion is on it.

Jux · 06/08/2010 18:25

fabsoopergroovy, I cannot piece this together as am in a bit of a crisis situation with some friends - almost started a thread myself.

Please start a thread explaining this properly and put a link here.
