to think £30 is an awful lot to pay for a 7 year olds dance class?

£3.50 for an hour for my 4yo DD, half an hour ballet and half tap. I think it goes up slightly when she moves to the next class. And its a good school with excellent pass rates for RAD.
£30 is ridiculous for an hour even one to one I'm afraid.

We pay 30 pounds a term which is ten lessons of 45 mins each. Its just gone up from 28 pounds. But if the child does extra lessons such as tap as well or has a sibling doing lessons it is cheaper.

LexieKJ · 01/08/2010 16:54

Colliecross are you sure it's £30 a lesson? Is it possible your sister/brother got it wrong or you guys got wires crossed and it actually is per term? It sounds ridiculously excessive otherwise!

ProfYaffle · 01/08/2010 17:02

£30 per hour? Surely that must be a mistake? We pay £4 per hour for 6yo dd1's street dance class.

dd has 5 classes a week and fees are paid per term. The average is bout £9 per hour. dd is rad grade 5 and taking intermediate foundation and conditioning classes also. i keep the invoices hidden from dh.
£30 an hour is steep - hope it's worth it.
