I dont know our friends have caused some upset in the last few days,I dont want to see them any more told him this,he then said this.
And if he leaves he will only give £300 per mnth I said I will get his bag he can leave in the morning, he said if he goes he wont come back we have kids.

I don't think is about friends...

Can't you both sleep on it and have chat another day?

Making hasty decisions in the middle of the night may not be the best option for the whole family...

sweetbloom · 01/08/2010 01:13

how many kidsdo you have?

Alouiseg · 01/08/2010 01:17

It's not up to him how much he "gives" you, the clarets will decide.

Any back story here?

kayah · 01/08/2010 01:17

can you pay bills now?
in advance?

don't make any hasty decisions
I mean - if you want him out that's fine

but have look at
www.turn2us.org.uk/benefits_search.aspx on Monday

call necessary numbers - prepare yourself for the split
buy that time and get asmuch advice as you can

NoPressureNoproblem · 01/08/2010 01:31

do you want to put his bag out?

aside from money, how do YOU feel?

my ex dp left one day when dd was 9 months,

that was it, no talk, no reason, no other woman, just gone.

sometimes its tough, it was for me, he left before i returned to work after maternity leave.

i never thought i could manage.

i did.

i did because i wanted to, because i had no other option.

you need to take a long hard look at wether you want him back, begging and pleading or not,

is he what you and your children need?

i wish you strength and luck and independance and courage with what ever choices you make...

SolidGoldBrass · 01/08/2010 01:36

If the kids are his he is legally obliged to pay a certain amount of money per month towards their support, whether or not you are married. it's not up to him how much it is. You will also probably be entitled to some benefits, child tax credit, income support, etc, depending on whether or not ou work.
If he wants to leave then, well, that's up to him, but anyone leaving a relationship has a moral obligation to be civilised and fair about doing so, especially when there are DC involved. If he doesn't intend to leave but is using the threat of Not Loving You Any More to make you submit and obey, then it would be a very good thing to know the facts about your legal/financial position so if he starts talking bollocks about leaving you penniless/taking the DC to live with him aned his new wife or whatever, you will know he's talking bollocks.

NoPressureNoproblem · 01/08/2010 01:49

solid is not often wrong,

and,

more often than not speaks words of wisdom you would be hard pushed to get else where...

sweetbloom · 01/08/2010 08:59

Thanks everyone Im not sure what to think but if he really does not love me there is no point being together anymore.
