close the fucking fridge door

This makes me cross
sitcoms on telly where the fridge is opened and whatever is taken out and the door is left open
I saw this tonight on an episode of Friends and yesterday watching My Family on bbc Iplayer.These are not isolated incidents and have occured over the years on telly and they make me cross
The fridge should be kept closed to keep the food chilled and it wastes electricity and speeds up global warming

Leave the fridge door open? That's nothing. My DP mopped up a watery mess in the bottom of the fridge on Thursday evening (most unusual for him to take the initiative, and all credit to him) but TURNED THE FRIDGE OFF to do it then drove 150 miles away for a couple of nights to watch the cricket at Trent Bridge. It took me until today to figure out why the milk had gone off and the firdge was all stinky. And bang (or rather, GLOOP) goes all the stuff in the freezer compartment. Grrrr.
