I've had a completely and utterly shit day and I don't know why. I even wondered if I'd forgotten my AD (mild dose) but nope. I hate Mondays. DCs just been playing in the living room with DVDs on.

uggggggggggggggggh

only an hour 'til DH gets home thank goodness.

AIBU to carry on thinking 'fuck it' and just keep vegging out? and hopefully actually get off my arse tomorrow?

No.
Do it.
Everyone needs an off day to remind you of the good days.
Just make sure you are prepared for tomorrow!!

I go through periods of this too. When it hits I do just do small but significant bits like cleaning out a drawer or packing ds's bag for the next day in case we might fancy going out at some point.

It really is the small bits that make a difference.

Also - talking to my dh about how I feel is a biggie. He is always good at chivvying me along and making me feel a bit better.

Hope you feel better soon.

MathsMadMummy · 26/07/2010 18:09

yes, I think it's just a bad day. mondays often are though, I think because I've had the weekend with DH and then he's back at work. but then if monday's bad, it sort of rolls over into the next day IYSWIM. hmmm.

ADs are working I think, I've been on them about 6 weeks. definitely made a difference but the only bad thing is they seem to be making it hard to sleep so I'm getting tired.

I was potty training DD last week so had an 'excuse' to stay in, but DD is dry already so no excuse now. it's silly, I love going out and seeing friends but then I look forward to just doing bugger all, even though I know it makes me miserable. perhaps I'm just inherently lazy!

nope am a SAHM, with my young DD and baby DS. doing an OU degree too.

don't know why, am totally aware that having something arranged to go out for will help, but some mornings I just can't/don't put it into practise. I am trying to work out what determines this!

I'm meeting my friend this morning (I hadn't arranged anything as I thought she was busy) and then my dad's visiting later. he's nice like that - I told him I was struggling a bit so he's coming to keep me company
