I only know of one occasion, and the child was not in their care at the time.

It is definitely only recreational, as they work full time and it would only be done on an evening out.

I know Eric - I'm sorry, but I just felt that if I was honest then it would detract from the real issue.

His ex and father of his DC, don't know how to deal with it - just ignore?

Apologies once again .

Oh ffs what a sad case.

Do they have children? Tell them you're reporting them to scoial services for being a threat to their childrens sanity for being such boring, soul-less wankers.

Yes, just ignore. If you get any communication from SS, just say you believe it is a malicious accusation but that they are welcome to come and visit and meet the children to put their minds at rest. The ex will make herself look very silly.

What Purplewedsnesday said - even habitual drug users are not nessaccarily bad parents I have come across plenty of terrible parents who do not use drugs.

If the child wasn't even involved, or went without or was not a priority when the parent took the drugs WTF is the problem.

I suggest you take a trip to your local SS office and judge whether you really think this would be a priority for them.

Whether you chose to leave you DC with this person knowing they take drugs recreationally is however a completely different story.
